Yoplait 2x Protein, 100 calorie Greek Yogurt. Oh. my. gosh. YUM!!! It tastes so good, is so filling and leaves feeling oh so happy. As you can see, even on a not so great hair day, this greek yogurt had me smiling from ear to ear. Try it! I love it!
So I usually have this rule where if it's under 60 degrees I don't run outside. Unless I happen to be starting a race up a mountain and it's 40 degrees when I start but by the time I end it's 80 degrees. That I can handle. But running in the winter cold air, with the Cache Valley inversion? No thank you. Today however, I had momentary lapse in judgement and when my friend Nan invited me to go running with her after work I said yes. The only problem with this is that I had packed running clothes for the gym. Not for outside, 30 and dropping temperatures. Luckily I had packed my running jacket and Nan was nice enough to let me borrow a headband thing to cover my ears (loved it! gotta get me one of those). Here's a shot of my legs afterward. They were red and completely numb. This was as good of a picture as I could get.
It was soo much fun! We did a little more than 4.5 miles (including a run up the Dugway and Old Main stairs, if you're familiar with Utah State...and if you're not that is no easy task) and then came back to Nan and Steph's apartment and did some abs. By some I mean 5 minutes. But that's ok. :) I loved running outside again and these ladies were just the best running buddies. It made me so happy to share something I love so much with two friends that I also love so much. So much love. On such a loving day. Have I used the word love enough??
aren't we just the cutest?! and this is post run. oh and Steph loves you.
Shout out to all of my family, friends, coworkers, wardies, neighbors and acquaintances. Love you all and I am lucky girl to live the life that I do. I am truly blessed.
Happy Valentine's Day!!!
